Minority Business and Technology Initiative

Inclusion of Minority Business Enterprises in Ecommerce

Join us for a virtual congressional briefing to learn how minority business enterprises (MBEs) in your state and district can get involved with the Minority Business & Technology Initiative (MBTI), a new program launched by the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) in collaboration with Amazon Business.

The Minority Business & Technology Initiative (MBTI) is helping thousands of minority business enterprises (MBEs) expand their businesses globally and increase sales exponentially through e-commerce technology.

As we have come to learn through the nationwide stay-at-home orders, leveraging the digital economy through e-commerce is now a business imperative for MBEs to stay in business and connected with their clients. MBTI has featured training seminars, led by Amazon Business experts and hosted by MBDA Business Centers, that focus on increasing revenue, exporting, mentorship, job growth, and raising corporate capital.

Speakers:

David Byrd, National Deputy Director, MBDA

Joann Hill, Chief Office of Business Development, MBDA

Anne Rung, Public Sector Director, Amazon Business

MBE Vendor on Amazon Business, TBD

Moderated by: MBDA
