As we reflect on the Thanksgiving Holiday, there is much to be grateful for – today and every day. In celebrating the simple joys of life, we also recognize the hard work and unique opportunities on the horizon. Minority-owned firms represent a community that is composed of 5.8 million businesses that contribute over $1 trillion to the U.S. economy, and directly and indirectly creates 16 million jobs. MBDA is honored to partner with you in ushering in a new era where we will focus on supporting your ability to access global markets with your products and services. Our future lies in the global markets and we are going to help you get there!

Next week, MBDA will host its signature event, National Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week, a premier conference that demonstrates the power of public-private partnerships and spotlights the unique role minority-owned businesses play in a dynamic global economy. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the cornerstone event and will bring together minority business owners, leaders of industry, and public officials. The conference will feature informative workshops focused on business trends, new growth and investment strategies, and emerging global markets that minority-owned firms can leverage to grow commercial opportunities. Other conference highlights include a Business-to-Business Expo featuring matchmaking sessions with federal and corporate decision-makers who collectively manage over $30 billion in procurement contracts.

MBDA is proud to host an event which brings together such talent, and we draw inspiration from working with these businesses every day to promote global competition and job creation for America. If you have not registered, you still have time!
