MBDA strategic partnerships will provide unprecedented opportunities to minority-owned businesses, increasing their global competitive advantage and their capabilities to create jobs.

These partnership assists firms that show promise of growth and sustainability in today’s marketplace.

MBDA Builds Partnerships Increasing Opportunities For Minority Entrepreneurs

Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC)

To identify and provide access to procurement opportunities in professional services, construction, and concessions at airports across America. Also, to assist minority business enterprises (MBEs) with certification information for doing business in the aviation industry.

California High-Speed Rail

To identify MBEs vendor contractors that have the capacity, scale and sustainability to be a catalyst for change in California rail projects.

CEO Connection

To increase the number of minority CEOs’ access to information, people and resources available through CEO Connection. Also to provide more minority firms with access to technical assistance and business opportunities offered through MBDA and its Business Center network.

Department of Energy

To provide technical assistance and information to MBEs for the purpose of increasing the number of opportunities available through the US. Department of Energy.


To present training workshops and seminars, publish informative content for entrepreneurs, and expand strategic alliances across multiple platforms.  Also, to provide an expanded focus on extending resources to the fastest growing segment of business owners – women of color. 

Funding Circle

To provide financial education and access to capital for business owners across America.  Also, to support collaboration on data sharing that can help to highlight and address disparities in access to capital for minority-owned firms.

Healthcare Supplier Diversity Alliance

To aid in healthcare supplier diversity through education and creating pathways to future opportunities.

Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC)

To help minority-owned businesses grow and compete through access to alternative forms of capital.  Also, to provide training and technical assistance to minority firms, while also opening doors of opportunity for these businesses to connect directly with investors and capital providers. 

Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA)

To explore partnerships between Korean diaspora-owned businesses in the U.S., other U.S. minority-owned businesses, and interested South Korean companies for joint ventures and other business opportunities.

National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF)

To enhance economic opportunities presented to minority-owned law firms.  Also, to provide minority-owned businesses with access to quality law firms and legal representation, and to promote relationships, networking, and strategic partnerships between MBDA business clients and NAMWOLF’s member firms.

Operation HOPE

To provide U.S. minority business enterprises with greater opportunities to access technical and financial resources. Also, to connect MBDA clients to Operation HOPE tools and programs such as the 700 Credit Score Communities Initiative and HOPE Business in A Box.

Supply Nation

To collaborate with MBDA on the Indigenous Business Development Initiative in Australian market.

Walker’s Legacy

To develop creative and innovative approaches to increase technical assistance and capital access for minority women-owned businesses.

The White House Initiative on Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders

To increase the awareness of AAPI-owned business opportunities in trade, exporting contracting opportunities through training and webinars. Also, to develop a joint strategy to improve AAPI business engagement and technical assistance.

U.S. International Trade Administration

To assist minority companies in developing export potential through increased awareness and use of existing ITA products and services; increase ITA and MBDA cooperation at the regional and district office/local level, especially in regard to export counseling and trade finance training for minority firms.

U.S. Export-Import Bank

To facilitate the export of goods and services from U.S. MBEs through outreach and financing if appropriate.
